Welcome to the Bristol Classical Guitar Society. Our mission is to promote and extend the profile of the classical guitar in the south west and to bring together players, makers, composers and enthusiasts of all levels. Our meetings include solo and ensemble practice and performance, seminars and masterclasses; our Concert Series presents internationally acclaimed performers. We would be delighted to have you at any of our meetings and events. We meet on the second Thursday of the month at 7:30 pm.

Further to our meeting on 14 April 2016, and especially for members who were not present, this is to confirm that, following the closure of the Brunswick Club, our future meetings will be held in the Unitarian Meeting Hall, still in Brunswick Square, BS2 8PE.  This is where we shall meet next month on 12 May.
As you come out of the Brunswick Club the meeting room is on the left-hand side of the square at the far end, looking down the road on the opposite side of the square to the Brunswick Club.  It is the lower building that has its glass doorway flanked by single stone columns!  The room is available to us from 7.15 - 10.15 pm on the second Thursday of each month as at present and the fee to members will remain at £5.00.  The acoustics are good and, while there is no bar, tea and coffee making facilities are available.
We are pleased to have maintained a venue in the city centre and hope it will meet with everyone's approval.  We look forward to seeing you there next month.
