Welcome to the Bristol Classical Guitar Society. Our mission is to promote and extend the profile of the classical guitar in the south west and to bring together players, makers, composers and enthusiasts of all levels. Our meetings include solo and ensemble practice and performance, seminars and masterclasses; our Concert Series presents internationally acclaimed performers. We would be delighted to have you at any of our meetings and events. We meet on the second Thursday of the month at 7:30 pm.  We meet at the Unitarian Meeting Hall, Brunswick Square, BS2 8PE.

Ensemble players should be in the hall at 7.00 pm for final rehearsal.

Cantaré! – Duo Correa Andrews
Saturday 18th June from 7.30 – 9.30pm
at Emersons Green Village Hall

Our ensemble director Francisco Correa and Emily Andrews provide an evening of atmospheric folk songs and virtuosic instrumental dances from Latin America and Europe, performed on flute/voice and guitar. Tickets from:

Lunchtime Concert on Monday 20th June
Members Tim Rigley amd Tony Lewis will be playing at St Stephens church in Bristol on Monday 20th June at 1.10pm. The church is in St Stephens Street, just off the bottom end of Corn St, BS1 1EQ. The concert is free but donations are requested on leaving, the proceeds probably going to the church. A cafe is attached to the church and will be open before and after the concert.
The programme will be mostly South American, Spanish, traditional and baroque.
